Founded in 2010, IDTV is the leading Connecticut based digital television network focused on bringing its advertising clients a dynamic new method of reaching their potential customers at their most likely time of making significant purchasing decisions. Our goal is to build a unique network of digital television screens located at gas stations throughout the state of Connecticut. Through our content provider partnership with WFSB Channel 3 News and Weather we offer engaging content to captive audiences at gas pump locations throughout Connecticut and we are adding content partners as we continue to grow.
Digital Out of Home Advertising
DOOH Advertising represents the single fastest growing segment of the advertising market and currently represents a total of 25% of advertising dollars spent. Today’s “on the go” consumer has never been harder to reach and DOOH advertising is designed to go where the consumer goes. While DOOH advertising comes in a variety of offerings from billboards to logo’s on vehicles, the key to success remains the same. Advertising needs to be seen by the right demographic and recalled at the time of a purchase decision to be effective.
Reaching a customer while they are filling up their gas tank has a number of benefits. First they are a captive audience for an average of 5 minutes. This allows a customer to enjoy our content without distraction (and 89% do according to Nielsen). Second, the same Nielsen study shows a 73% recall rate when viewing advertising at a digital network at the gas pump. Third, unlike many other DOOH advertising mediums IDTV offers a combination of audio, video and digital capabilities through our high quality television screens for effective advertising program design. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, according to Master Card customers spend on average 35% more on the day they fill up their gas tank than on any other day of the week.
Taken together, there is no more effective way to reach customers when they are on the go and ready to make a purchasing decision.
The IDTV network is as engaging as television but more cost effective for advertising than TV, radio or print. IDTV’s state-wide network is expanding daily and can provide advertisers with broad reach throughout Connecticut. At the same time, IDTV’s technology platform has the ability to geo-target specific audiences at a station by station detail when advertisers are focused on a smaller geographic region or a particular demographic.
